Nelson's Spring Creek offers a unique opportunity in the guiding services they provide. The on site guides, Tucker and Jacquie Nelson are extremely experienced and have fly fished the surrounding area extensively. They both specialize in spring creek techniques and can also share with you their river expertise while drifting the Yellowstone.

Both guides enjoy teaching all anglers from a beginner to a seasoned expert. If you're a novice, they are more than willing to teach the fundamentals of fly fishing so you would be able to start enjoying a life-long hobby. For the elite out there, the guides are happy to show you around the waters and hopefully teach you a few new skills along the way.

When you choose to spend a day with a Nelson you are in for a truly enjoyable experience. A guided trip not only consists of fishing instruction but also includes a hearty homemade lunch, guide provided flies and transportation. After the trip, similar flies and equipment used throughout the guided trip can all be purchased at the Nelson's Spring Creek fly shop.

 

TUCKER NELSON (Outfitter #11797):

Tucker Nelson grew up fishing Nelson's Spring Creek and the surrounding areas. He has a deep passion for fishing but it goes beyond the sport and is extenuated in his love and stewardship for the land and gratification of tranquility found in every cast. He has experience as a fly fishing guide for five years and has recently become a licensed outfitter. Tucker has worked with many anglers at every skill level and would love the opportunity to work with you.

JACQUIE NELSON (Guide #13391):

Jacquie Nelson, wife of Tucker Nelson, picked up the skill of fly fishing after meeting her husband. Ever since the beginning, she has excelled in her passion and skills while fishing the spring creek and river every chance she gets. She loves to share this enthusiasm with others and assist them with various skills and techniques.
